The Cincinnati Film Society Filmmaker in Motion Residency program is an international, six month live-in co-op, providing filmmakers with the necessary tools to create a film, and a $5,000 stipend in three installments for their project. Filmmakers are provided the stipend for crew, talent, food, and are given rent free living accommodations in the CFS Filmmaker in Motion Residency House. The residency is an artisanal living situation in which the residents not only create a film but also share in creating an eco-friendly living environment. The co-op will provide professional, and new filmmakers with the unique opportunity to concentrate on their work in a supportive, collegial environment for a period of six months. This “gift of time” will allow artists to work without distraction in an effort to break new ground and focus on individual goals.
